A huge thank you to Tom, Ed Chris and Jayne at TMW Pond Services, who, from start to finish have carried out an absolutely first-class job in completely renovating our pond. The communication, thoughtfulness and professionalism throughout the process has been absolutely fantastic with the lads turning up in all weathers, even constructing a gazebo over the pond in torrential rain so that they could crack on with the job. Our original pond was in a very sorry state to say the least and we now we have a beautiful, deeper pond with a new liner, surrounding edge rocks, pebbles and a cascading waterfall – which they cleverly shaped from rock. The new pump and filtration boxes (hidden by rock covers) mean that the water is crystal clear. Tom even sorted out our gate leading to the pond which now opens! and set up heron stakes to protect the fish. Our fish were very well cared for throughout the process and were kept in a very roomy holding tank. It was great being able to ask Tom, Chris and Ed questions about how to look after the fish and pond maintenance as they are all clearly exceptionally knowledgeable and it was fascinating to hear about their fisheries work. Little things such as replanting some of the plants that were around the pond in the garden and helping carry and install a heavy stone bench was also much appreciated and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. A special thank you to Jayne who was constantly on hand via the phone to give any communication updates and provide reassurance. We were very impressed with the reliability and commitment to the job of all involved. Their work has completely surpassed our expectations and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Tom had lots of creative ideas and suggestions and a meticulous approach to making sure the pond was aesthetically pleasing. We would therefore thoroughly recommend TMW Pond Services. I recently bought a rather run down and neglected property with a pond which subsequently unsurprisingly developed a leak. Tom and the team at TMW provided a quick response when I made contact and we agreed a mutually suitable date to assess the issue and Tom gave sound sensible advice about next steps. We agreed a date for installation and I was pleased with the job done. Tom is knowledgeable and trustworthy and I didn’t feel there was any pressure to go with the quote provided but knew I would be in good hands which i was. The reinstallation of a new pond and pump was all done in a little over a week despite snow! Prompt cheerful service and a very happy customer! Tom & TMW Pond Services have got the COMPLETE solution for ALL your garden ponds, for Koi or other fish. His design and build skills are absolutely superb, meeting individual needs perfectly. I have had Tom refurbish an leaking old Koi pond, built in 1976, where he cleared it out, repaired cracks, and totally re-sealed the pond. All the fish were put in temporary pool and cared for excellently. Tom has also given support and technical advice on our other pond, gets spare parts for Oasis units at the drop of a hat. What he doesn’t know about fish & ponds isn’t worth knowing. A real knowledgeable professional and a genuinely nice guy. Thanks again Tom 😀
